The internet and websites are great but they shouldn’t become a means of destroying an individual’s privacy.
In this policy statement we will set out what information we gather from you, what we do with it and how you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Who we are?
johnsonsminibuses is a private business. We have a couple of websites depending on whether you’re looking for transport related to airport transfers or for other social events. Our email and telephone numbers are shown on every page of both websites.
If we can’t service your needs directly then we may ask one of the other transport businesses that we work alongside if they are available to provide the service that you have requested.
What information do we collect?
We only collect the data that you enter into the enquiry form. The data is not stored in a database after you enter it, it is sent directly to us by email when you hit the submit button. You also see exactly the same information that we see because you are sent a copy of that same enquiry.
There is no facility for you to create an online account and no personal data that you enter through the form is collected. Other than looking at the emails that are created by the form we have no other means of accessing your data.
How do we use personal information?
When you send an enquiry to us we review the request to see if we can comply with your requirements and to then provide you, by email, a price for the service that you have requested.
For HMRC and accounting purposes we are required by law to keep details of our income and where it came from. Other than that we do not have any use for your data.
We do not share it with other people (other than as described above). We certainly don’t sell it to anyone and we take as much care with your personal data as we do with our own.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
We keep your data for the minimum amount of time required by law.
Your rights in relation to personal data
Your data sits in an email folder on our server. We can search that folder for all emails that have been sent by you to us (including those sent through the website) and emails sent to you from us. We can send copies of all emails that relate to your email address and you can ask us to delete any that you would like us to delete.
We can not delete emails which we have a legal requirement to keep.
If you want to know what information we hold on you just send us an email asking for that information then allow us a reasonable amount of time to get all of the information together for you.
